Introduction:
Eras are broad swaths of time, like chapters in the epic novel of Earth’s history. Eras provide a framework for understanding the interconnectedness of events and the long-term evolution of our planet and its inhabitants. They offer a way to categorize and analyze the past, helping us to better understand the present and perhaps even anticipate the future. In this article we’ll explore the Different Types of Geological Eras on Earth.
What is Era?
A period of time known for particular Events or Developments. It’s a way of dividing history into meaningful chunks, each with its own unique identity. An Era is a span of time defined for the purposes of Chronology or Historiography. Our Earth’s age is 4.543 billon years. Many Eras had been have passed.
Era is created by any particular Incident or any particular Man or anything.
There are Different Types of Eras like
- Geological Eras: These are vast stretches of time defined by major changes in the Earth’s geology, such as the formation of continents, the rise and fall of sea levels, and significant volcanic activity. The most well-known geological eras include the Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic.
- Historical Eras: These are periods are known human Era. Because it was marked by significant human events, such as wars, revolutions, or technological advancements. Examples include the Renaissance, the Industrial Revolution, and the Cold War.
- Cultural Eras: These eras are defined by shared cultural values, artistic styles, and social norms. Think of the Victorian Era, known for its strict social etiquette and emphasis on morality, or the Roaring Twenties, an era of jazz, flappers, and social liberation.
This article is about Geological Eras.
Types of Geological Eras.
Geological Era means it define the history of earth. About when was the first living organisms was born, about the age of dinosaurs, when was the human born like that.
We have Five Geological Eras They are:-
1.Ezoic Era: Lowe pre-cambrian
2.Ezoic Era: Upper pre-cambrian
3.palaeozonic Era
4.Mesozoic Era
5.Caenozoic Era
1.Ezoic Era : Lowe pre-cambrian. Time 3000-1200 Million years ago.
In this Era the living organism was born in this earth. They are named as microscopic organisms called Microbes .These are look like bacteria.
These are the first living creatures in our earth formed in water. Some look like bacteria and some are look like fossils. Even we don’t believe that they are living things.2.Ezoic Era: Upper pre-cambrian. Time:1200-600 Million years ago.
In this Era small Aquatic creatures are formed from the Microbes. Such as flatworms, corals and jellyfishes etc.

In this Era there is no Terrestrial Animal. They are all Aquatic animals.
3. Palaeozonic Era. Time: 541-259 Million years ago.
There are new animals are developed in this Era. Such as Ammonites, crinoids, ichthyostega. The Paleozoic Era began with the Cambrian explosion. It ended with the Permian extinction. During the era, invertebrate animals diversified in the oceans. Plants, amphibians, and reptiles also moved to the land. Land plants evolved rapidly into the vacant niches afforded them on land. By the end of the Devonian, forests of progymnosperms, such as Archaeopteris dominated the landscape. By the end of the Paleozoic, cycads, glossopterids, primitive conifers, and ferns were spreading across the landscape.

4. Mesozoic Era. Time: 210-70 Million years ago.
Mesozoic is the wonderful Era. It gives thrill when we read about it. This is Era of Trassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous. Dinosaurs , Mammoths and other wonderful creatures are lived on earth in this period

5.Caenozoic Era. Time 70 Million years ago to present.
Caenozoic Era is the Era now we are living in. Human was formed in Era. This is the Era where Human evolved from Early man to digital man. This is the Era that transition of a Early man into Super human.
In the early days of this Era named Stone age man called as Early Man or Homo sapiens.

Every Era deserves a separate article because there are so many things that happend in in our Earth jn different Eras. Such as Animals, Climate changes, About Minerals and things that are happened in that age.
